Trimming my long hair GSD - German Shepherds Forum First time GSD owner My dog Ellie scratched and gnawed at a couple of places around her bum Dr said because the hair is so thick it’s easy to get a bacterial infection if she gets a scratch or the skin is broken Question: Does anyone trim their long haired shepherd?
